Use it or Lose it! Save your work often - this prevents you from
losing it! - Locate the 'Save' icon on the toolbar
It's a good habit to click the 'Save'
tool often - it is painless!
All
documents that you recall are already named - the name
should indicate the
type of information in the document eg 'On The Farm'.
If you create a document from scratch -
you must give it a name!
When you save for the first time the following screen
appears:
'Save in' - click into the
arrow at 'My Documents' and
click on selected location!

Documents - a storage space on
the computer itself!

Floppy Disk - means you can take
it from one computer to another
Important documents should always be
saved to both locations!
Open this
document and save it to your Floppy Disk!
